As a second generation Korean American with extended family members still living in North Korea, Justin Daehan joined the DIVIDED FAMILIES Documentary Project out of a desire to learn more about and to help individuals who were separated from family members during the Korean War. Justin is a third year law student at Cornell Law School who is currently studying abroad at Peking University Law School in Beijing, China. He will graduate in May 2009 with his J.D. and LL.M. in International and Comparative Law, upon which he will work at Weil, Gotshal & Manges, an international law firm based in New York City.
As he has yet to pass the New York bar, Justin is merely acting as a general legal consultant to the Divided Families Documentary Project and is not representing the Project in any capacity.
